This Service has been developed in the scope of the VIKING project which is part of the TEMPO programme of the European Commission (Directorate General Energy and Transport).

The northern provinces of Finland, Sweden and Norway are not yet participants in the VIKING-project. However, it is being discussed whether to stretch the transport projects to the northern regions. The "Travel and Transport Information Service" overlooks this and offers nationwide information.
